Sandbädd is a workshop held during Locally Alien in Malmö, a festival for local ecologies in Malmö, part of Southern Sweden Design Days.
Sandbädd is an exploration of the material surface of our city and how this allows for different non-human inhabitants to coexist with us. The sand bed is an environment for soil-dwelling species like solitary bees / wild bees. Through a non-extractive perspective we build small sand bed prototype.
